Spence, that shift plate is awesome. Does the shifter rod actually touch the plate, or does the shifter movement clear the dividers?

Thanks! The shifter clears the gates nicely except in reverse and 5th, where the centering spring pulls the lever against the fingers a bit.

I gotta say that I actually like this mod even better than I thought I would. I was a little worried that I was making a form over function mod but I genuinely like the feel of the shift and precision of the movement now. Not for everyone I'm sure, but I give it

I have a similar shift gate on my DMC. One of my favorite mods as well.

Not for my Esprit but Lotus related.. Bought these from the Caterham F1 bankruptcy auction:
Going to put on pieces of 1/4" steel and hang on the wall in my office.

A Pair of TEAM LOTUS 2011 Primaries



and

these memory stick thingys.. Got ten of them so if anyone wants to buy a few let me know..

Ten CATERHAM F1 Model Car 8.0GB Memory Sticks

Finally a Dry Day in Georgia, so I changed the Fuel filter and engine oil and filter, then went for a nice drive. DaveS4s

Made a negative mold from the broken bulkhead relay cover. Brittle over the years it was cracked and repaired a couple times.
A couple hours,sticky fingers and I have a new CF part. A little sanding and 2K clear, good for a few more years.

I didn't do anything to my esprit except having parked next to my Vantage.

Not really a part of any other forum other than the occasional visit to 6 speed online so thought I'd share with my buddies here.
