LHD M100 Elan master cylinder

Anyone know what car this part is off of? I need a new master cylinder and it looks close to impossible to find one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Nothing truly matches. DBE sells a part that can be made to work. A modification is needed. I forget if it is to the car or the master cylinder.

I had mine rebuilt at White Post Restoration. Make sure you strip all the plastic and rubber parts off prior to shipping it out to anyone.

Hi, Dean,

Is this the issue of the 4 output port Master Brake Cylinder(as used on rest of world Elans and common practice on most cars) vs the 3 port MBC used on the North American Elans?

Yes, the 3 vs 4 port issue.

Garage
I may have a spare used one if you can not find anything locally.

SJ Sports cars in the UK sell replacements quite cheap, only difference with them is that they have a steel body instead of aluminium.
