Of the total 60 cars, how many will come to US?
Lotus used to (recent history) prep all our cars to one common standard, i.e all US cars were CARB compliant. It does make it easier to move them around in the market, after all the non-CARB states are not 49. CARB is used by 15 sates plus DC. However in this case Lotus obviously want to get as close to the 430 Hp as possible.

Cool car but those damn bumperettes on either side of the license plate need to go! I wonder if they’re removable without having to pull the whole rear clam.

There is an upclose picture somewhere that shows they are attached with two screws. The screw holes would be concealed by the rear plate.

Any pricing released on these? I am very interested. I believe there’s also an Ohlins damper option.

The various dealer posts are giving pricing. Check out Gator Motorsport, they have two ordered without allocation. Ohlins are a dealer install accessory.

Aston Vantage has them too. A throwback to the seventies or sometime when I was a kid and American cars had truly hideous “bumperettes”. Never thought I’d see such again.

Glad to see they are removable. Not pretty to me, and would stop my ownership if not removable............

THey wouldn't have cellulite if they got off their a$$ on occasion and stopped stuffing down bon bons and Proseccos all day long. Its a stop gap no doubt as they do need some inventory.....maybe 100 of them.

My wife says it looks a lot like my car. I should not ask for opinions.

It's a bit hard to tell from the angle in the photo, but the dash's binnacle shape looks more like S1 than 4xx. Overall a nice upgrade except for the rubber duckies that are likely to be removed by the second day of ownership.

I am content with what I have when considering the economics of a trade but I think those who waited to get an Evora will be well satisfied with this car. It looks good to me even as a base car.

The silver car carries the same MSRP as my car did and has all of the same options in addition to the power bump and other new stuff. I have to admit that seems good value given the upgrades to the base model. The CF pack is very nice but I could do without it to keep the price down and still feel well served. I'd want a color but that's just a matter of personal preference.

I think after all the speculation it's a nice upgrade to the platform. I'd personally be careful about adding options to keep the tariff down but I'm frugal and suspect the base car is all I'd need. Hmm. Probably shouldn't have said anything and just ordered one in racing green to allay any suspicions.

I'm trying to like the vents over the front wheels, not having much luck.

Anyone know the rationale for the 400 front bumper? Is the 410 Sport still destined for the US?

I agree. Whereas the rear vents are an interesting (or perhaps "eye catching") feature, the fender vents look like an afterthought and don't really add to the svelte. However, Lotus cars it seems are about a certain type of functionality (the kind that makes for faster progress over the road) so I forgive the aftermarket add-on appearance. As they aid in aerodynamics, they serve a purpose, unlike the fake scoops and vents on so many new cars. I'm sure owners will come to terms with them just as I would if I bought one.

Every Evora is sweet looking to my eyes, S1, the 400 (which takes all the heat but ticks all the boxes for me) and this new car as well. Lotus people seem to delight in picking the fly poop out of the pepper when it comes to each new iteration of the car, yet each is an improvement over the last. I suspect these cars will also be the least trouble prone as well if for no other reason than the factory keeps having more experience in honing the platform.
