Yes, in a NA Evora you can use every Evora S and even every V6 Exige S exhaust and vice versa. Minor adjustaments might be needed as follows:

- the Exhaust Hanger (silencer mounting). From MY12 they changed the diameter of the silencer mountings (from p.n. B132S0088F to B132S0088F) . You can buy new rubber mountings or add or remove the metal cylindrical spacers as needed, very simple.

- the main catalitic converter (or downpipe to sliencer assembly). Here is the problem, keep your original one and you'll be sure it will work with every silencer. If you plan to change it (e.g. if you want to remove you catalitic converter for a simple pipe) keep in mind that there are at least 3 different versions:
1 The early NA's pre MY12 (tilted flange)
2 the S and IPS every MY (horizontal flange)
3 the Exige V6 (horizontal flange but different S shape)
Horizontal and tilted versions are hardly interchangable, you should cut and weld back the flange with the correct tilt, very difficult. The third is interchangable with a small cut and weld, as I did.

- You have to find a way to make the valve work. You can use an electronic wireless control kit (look on ebay) or connect the valve to the vaacum lines as I did.

Well I just finished the electric cutout project and I'll have to say that I'm not disappointed at all. It's exactly what I imagined it would be. Loud as crap with the remote opened and super quiet with the valve turned off.
I never intended on driving long distances with it open, only letting crowds at shows and gatherings hear how cool the V6 really sounds. Mission accomplished. Now I probably should buy another one for spare parts just in case

It took a total of 12 hours from start to finish for me to fab it all up and wire it in. Believe it or not the wiring was pretty difficult because I had trouble fishing it from the back of the car to the interior. I didn't realize how sealed up the Evora is! Also I had no idea how to take the rear interior loose to get to the wire I fed in back there. I had to break out the manual and it said to just "pull forward" on that rear glass surround"!! Arrg

Now I did hack my Cat up for the flanges and elbows because none of my local shops could mandrel bend that close. I ended up welding a couple custom pieces because of the close quarters back there. I actually lost a little weight dropping the 3rd Cat and installing the cutout which will make brgelise happy....probably not. Yes it's still a boat anchor but I have the best of both worlds now and that makes ME happy. Maybe one day I can get a Larini setup after-all.

So to answer your question kukadog, this is definitely doable and the results are what you would expect. Find someone with a bunch of patience, a good welder and don't forget to disconnect the battery when welding.

I still need a 3rd Cat for a 2011 n/a just in case I ever need to go back stock, so if anyone out there has one they'd like to sell or give away (and I know you do) I will be happy to pay for any shipping expenses

Thank you for the information! This is very helpful but as a (very) amateur DIY mechanic, I could use a little more help/education:

1) Connecting valve control to vaccuum lines- I saw in your earlier post that you used a T valve to connect to the air filter solenoid. Can you share pictures or DIY for dummies instructions? To reference my abilities, I don't know how to find the air filter solenoid. I have the BOE CAI installed if that makes a difference.

1a) Am I correct that using the T valve will open the exhaust with the sport button?

1b) In an earlier post you mentioned inverting the vaccuum line and using a carburator part. Why and how?

1c) Any downside to adding the T valve (e.g. Reduced air filtration, insufficient vaccuum, overtaxed vaccuum system)?

2) I do plan to install a decat pipe. My car is a 2011 NA (tilted flange) and I may buy an OEM valved exhaust from a 2012+ car (horizontal). Does the decat flange need to match my car or the exhaust? I am guessing my car but want to confirm. In other words, if I added a tilted decat for my 2011, would that mate to all exhaust options?

3) If I buy the correct decat pipe, is there still a need to cut and weld?

4) Would the install be easier or better if I ordered and installed the new silencer mountings? If so, it looks like the 2012+ is actually PN A132S0171F.

I love working on my own car but still have a TON to learn. This forum is a wonderful resource! Thanks!

Then it's the solenoid that the BOE instructions mention that you should zip tie somewhere. Not unplug, but just keep connected electronically, but no vacuum lines.

Hi! So, let's start from the beginning:

1. I'll post some pics (it's a T-pipe, not a valve).

1a. Correct. Sport button on opens the exhaust. Exhaust opens itself above 2500 RPM even if sport mode is off.

1b. The carburettor jet is used to skip a little problem. Basically the airbox flap and the exhaust valve works vice versa: vacuum closes the airbox flap but opens the exhausth valve.

1c. No downsides, it's a fully mechanical mod. Anyways you should use a very small air filter because the jet is a screw with a small hole in it: everything smaller than jet's hole would be sucked and pass straight after the main air filter into the engine. No big deal, but... I used a Dell'Orto PHBG idle jet n.30 (0.30 millimeter hole), but everything with a small hole would do the job.

2. Yes, the right decat for your car will fit every OEM exhaust

3. No cut and weld with the right decat (apart from point 4.)

4. Yes but a grinding tool would do the same job for cheaper.

So I need to order two of these rubber mounts (PN: B132S0088F) to get the Larini exhaust installed on my 2011 NA Evora. My favorite source Hangar111 does not have it. What's the next best place to order?
