Aftermarket Carbon Fiber Body Parts

Does anybody know of an aftermarket Carbon Fiber Body Part repalcement for the Evora?

I have been trying to email this https://www.vicrez.com/ but they dont reply...

I think the fiberglass body of the evora if replaced with CF will significantly make the car lighter... A LOT LIGHTER.....
- Front bumber/Hood/Doors/ Rear Hatch ?

Check out Greg'sRaceParts.com. He's always adding new cf items, and deals with Lotus. Great business to deal with.

I second that. Haven't gotten anything for the Evora from him but I did get some stuff for the Elise. Good friendly company to deal with.

HKFEVER? Hethel sport? Both are sponsors of this forum.

They only offer CF for the scoops or the Louvers or the side skirts...

I think if you want to make this Evora to be more "lighter" the Hood/ Front Bumper , Door or the Rear Hatch has to be replace with CF...

problem with this vicrez.com is that they do not know what a Lotus Car is...although if they make CF body parts for Lotus their price might be reasonable ...

You could check with Mansory. Or look for other Lotus shops that sell their products. They made some body panels, front/rear bumpers, roof, spoiler etc.

Not going to be cheap!!! Their stuff is pretty expensive. I think the whole kit is over$15k.

I think between the three companies listed below, there are quite a few cf parts available already. I don't know that there is a big enough demand for Evora cf clams/bumpers.

HKFEVER makes cf rear sail panel, rear window louver, side skirts, wing, diffuser, finisher, side scoops, A-Pillers, and front access hatch.

HethelSport has vented A Panels, 410 engine cover tailgate, rear wing, GTE engine louvers, side scoops, barge boards

British Racing Group has all the Mansory products: side scoops, rear wing, rear window louvers, A-Pillars, diffuser, diffuser holder, engine cover, rear spoiler, sail panel, vented A Panels, side skirts, front and rear bumpers plus various cf interior trims.

Of course, you can always try to get cf parts from the Evora Sport 410 from Lotus (good luck!) which include: rear diffuser, front splitter, roof panel, rear quarter panel, front access panel, tailgate with integrated rear spoiler and louvered backlight.

Yeah with all the vendors prices for the parts....you might as well get a tune from say BOE and be faster thru power.

Let us know if you do get your hands on these parts and how fitment etc was.

Win Ace and I have been kicking that idea around for over a year. I already have a design sketch for a (somewhat) subtle scoop that forces air into the engine bay... but then the question becomes, why? We don't need it for engine air intake, engine cooling is fine, there's no intercooler or significant heat soak issues--there's just no justifiable reason to add the aero drag other than it looks cool.... which may be enough.

The design would be a fairly easy install that would not affect the rear window hatch (or louvers), would accomodate the standard engine cover or any 410 type, and would require no body panel cutting.

Would love to hear thoughts on this from those of you that like to modify your cars.

Hethelsport and GRP are great and definitely check them out.

We have some items from Mansory on our site (www.shop.britishracinggroup.com). We can order you the OEM pieces too from the GTE or 410 if that's something your interested in. 430 parts are still on restriction for aftersales but eventually those will be available too.

I'm also kicking around the idea of the 410 hatch.

Trying to figure out how to paint it - I don't really care for the black look - so I'll paint it, but then I'll need to paint the sail panel... and then its more complicated ($$$) due to the stripes... and then it looks funky with the louver section body color, so that will need to get sprayed black... and then.... argh.

I also love the idea of adding the CF 410 hatch to my Evora S. Not only does it looks better but the weight saved will improve the overall handling and performance. I dropped ~30 lbs by replacing the stock exhaust with the TopSpeed titanium exhaust and I already noticed the difference in performance. Now if I can drop more weight with the LI battery and the CF hatch, that would be awesome!

The OEM 410 louvered hatch with clear coat is $5350. If you're interested, let us know. We can also get cheaper options from Mansory as well.

Does anyone know the weight saving on louver vs glass, and OE rear hatch complete vs 410 rear hatch?
