I keep thinking the base 400 is the sweet spot for this series and that the follow on cars as will probably be sold in this country won't stand up favorably to the delta in price. Carbon fiber looks great but as add-ons like spoilers, wings or even a roof, it's an expensive way to get an increase in performance so that's only worth "so much" to me.
It would have to be more comprehensively different than a 400 to coax an additional 45K out of me.
Yes, I may be prejudiced since I already have a 400 but I have asked myself what I would buy now if I didn't already own it. Given current market conditions it would be another 400.
