I bought the Evora 400 this year to add a manual that was rare enough that I would not see them everywhere. Totally fell in love with the car.

I am looking to replace the NSX in ~2020-2022 with a much faster mid-engine hybrid. Something like the new Alfa Romeo should be rare enough that I would be interested but I have not committed to anything yet.
I have to ask...how do you like the NSX? I came really close to buying one last month because Acura had $20K cash back and I had a dealer that was willing to do another $10K. I backed out for the same reason I didnít move on MY2017...the depreciation hit on them looks massive because they arenít getting any love (and I donít understand why...I think they are beautiful cars).

Would you go back and buy it again? Also if itís Curva red, PM me in 2020 when you want to unload yours.

Going to skip daily drivers...

Fun car progression...

95 Celica
03 350Z
09 R8
17 Evora 400

Next...was almost sure it would be a CPO NSX. But one really cool thing that Iím loving about the Evora 400 is that I can put my daughterís car seat in the back and she fits fine (sheís 4)...she LOVES the Evora (and the exhaust note). So Iím thinking if that continues I may limit my fun car search to something with 4 seats, so been poking around the Ferrari California T or maybe a 911 Turbo.

Other fun stuff with wheels...

16 CBR500R (next I think will be the new CBR650R)
07 Yamaha Wolverine (actually have two of these, one for wifey...probably will never trade unless I start going trail riding at elevation...perfect ATV for me beyond being carbureted).

Well, I've owned and own a bunch of cars and trucks for commuting or weekend duty, so I won't include those, only sports cars or something interesting:
Chrysler Laser Turbo (not a great start, but it was fun back in the day for teenage me)
El Camino 454SS
NA Miata
SC300 - 1JZ swapped
GS300 - V160 and GTE swapped
MR2 Turbo
MKIV Supra TT
Now - Evora
Going to get a C8 after they get rid of the first year bugs. It will be nice to have dealer support/part availability and a ton of aftermarket support

Currently a 2017 Evora 400 manual transmission. I will be adding a 2020 Corvette (it'll be my first vette...got to scratch that itch)

Actively hunting the next car. Looking at the C8 or Z06 but am having reservations about trading in the Evora for one...

I absolutely love mine, about to hit 32,000 miles but I knew what I was getting into. I was to support hybrid tech so we don't all end up with dead silent EVs.

The few things I did not like about the car I have addressed. I wanted a wider track and louder exhaust and of course a bit more power. With the mods that are available you can make the car pretty much perfect.

More than anything I love never seeing them on the road, kind of like my Evora.

I also frequently use EV mode when parking or in town, its pointless to buy the car if you wont ever do this.

Yep, I'd buy it again as all of the mid-engine hybrids come with massive price tags. When the wave of upcoming mid-engine hybrids here I will be looking to upgrade.

2018 Evora 400
2017 NSX
2014 RS7

Thatís awesome man, Iím glad to hear youíre enjoying it. Making me second guess my decision to pass on the most recent Acura incentive though!

I hear you. Also, it seems when trading your Evora they value the car super low and it doesn't matter if we are talking Porsche, Audi, MB or GM......Ö.I rather keep it.

Time will tell if they got it right with the C8. I am sure to see them at the track next year and plan on logging some seat time.

Quite a few others before these four but I have always had two cars, a daily and a "tinker toy" (plus the wife's different SUVs for the fam-mobile)
2008 Civic Si coupe (DD) and 2001 Audi TT 225q (400HP APR Stage 3)
2011 Evora (DD) and 2005 Elise - been in the Lotus family for the last 11yrs

Just like @eZg after this week's news, I may be ditching the Evora and going with the C8.

2005 Elise- Katana II Supercharged and other fun bits
2011 Evora - Daily Driver

Am highly considering the new C8, as it's the first Vette I've ever been even remotely interested in. But will have to wait and see how many issues crop up.

Past cars:

92 Mistsu VR4 twin turbo AWD
95 Ferrari 355 Berlinetta
18 Lexus LC500
11 BMW Z4 28
15 BMW Z4 35is
16 Mercedes AMG GTS
15 Porsche Cayman GTS

Current cars:

14 BMW 750Li
15 Corvette Z06
17 Lotus 400
19 NSX Thermal Orange
16 Porsche GT4

Vette, Lotus and GT4 are stick.
NSX is damn fast paddle shifter.
If I had to choose just one, I would choose the Lotus. Not the most comfortable, not the fastest, but the most fun to drive!

Evora 2010 my first sports car.
Added later Miata 1992

Can't stop thinking on the C8 value / performance, although prefer the simplicity of the Evora.
