I'm not advocating for a swap, I very much prefer the FE over the FKS. FKS has VVT-iW meaning it has a wider range which makes more power at the same durability and better fuel economy. The FKS was done as an intermediate from 2GR to the newer V35A-FTS. As of now, there are no V35A transverse options, but there may be some in the future. Personally I believe, if there was a trans to support it, the FKS with a couple of choo-choo boys strapped to the side of would be one heck of a powerplant.

Current:
2018 Evora 400 Metallic Black Manual
1998 Volvo V90 silver L59/4L60 swapped
1970 Honda CT70 Red

Sold:
2017 Audi R8 Silver V10/DCT
2010 Evora Carbon Grey Manual
12 others...

Two attempts at turbo additions have been fails as far as I understand, one was in Houston, a) unless you can convince BOE to tune the factory ECU you'll have to go with an aftermarket ECU which will then make the OBD2 fail you at inspection, b) right after Phil worked on his first Evora (mine), he got all excited and purchase an NA with a goal to turbo hit, don't know if he even started but, I know he ended up with the TVS-1900 SC development. Again the current engine is good to 460 Hp or over 500 w/piston/arms .. no transmission will carry you there with reliability, factory runs the straw sequential, that will cost two legs to purchase and 2 arms each maintenance overhaul .. those are race parts assumed to be rebuilt each month.

I wanted to add that and some $13,000 on a TVS-1900 conversion would pay fora lot of schooling.

An excellent point that is so often overlooked.
