not true. I have to pull into my current garage at an angle in order to exit easily on the driver's side...requires pulling close to the door frame, and I have to fold my mirrors to do such.

If you use folding feature a lot these mirrors may not be for you. The stock mirrors are fairly heavy due to power folding metal support inside.

I suspect these mirrors will weigh close to 50% less than stock units .

Also these will be further out from door then stock to hopefully free up air flow a bit more to upper rear intake .

Very nice work, I am down with these. I assume there will be a carbon option?

CAD work has begun on my end, they'll be one final update prior to designing the mount.

I know you stated that power folding wasn't going to be an option, but what about manual folding?

A folding feature will not be available in the immediate release, its a complicated process.

It's an aggressive timeline but I plan to have the mount completed and attached to our door within the next 10'days.

Any renderings from the viewing side? Although the design looks good, an idea of what we will expect to see will help. What shape is the glass?
Is there room for a spot mirror? I would like them to stick out a little farther than stock but not be big as balloons

Further renderings will come into play as we progress to the mirror mount. It'll be sleek like the TF Exige/Elise mounts and take into consideration the side vents and air channeling.

The glass shape will be posted up this week for your viewing pleasure.

Yes, things have slowed down a little on the mirrors as I await some materials to arrive but also have a new product about to launch

We'll be back on track by mid-next week!

The point of contact to the door sill has been CAD'd and been test fitted so things are looking good there!

WOW - very long over due update - we've been swamped with rear light upgrades and other little products for Porsche.

I will be getting back on game with these, don't lose hope it WILL happen!

Bobsy I should have made myself a little more clear: this thread has no affect unless a specific user purchased an Evora overnight and decides to derail this thread as well

I plan to put my efforts full time into this early next week!

Cheers.

Mick,
I mean NO disrespect to you or your products, but was confused regarding the future availability of your parts by your other thread.
I don't understand your comment "this thread has no affect unless a specific user purchased an Evora overnight and decides to derail this thread as well".
Anyway, my apologies for apparently misinterpreting your other post.
Keep up the good work on developing aftermarket Evora parts.

As a matter of fact I will appologize. The remark was not directed towards new Evora owners per se.

It was more geared towards a certain someone that appears to have the knack of applying a negative bias on some of our threads.

Rest assured you guys are fine.

I will keep you abreast as I progress.

Cheers!
