Front Plate... sto n go?

Has anyone tried this?

https://bigmikesperformanceparts.com/

It seems like a great solution, especially to just keep the plate in the trunk and say "sorry officer, I just washed the car, came from a show, etc." and put it back on in front of him.

They don't offer our car specifically, but it looks like we just need a wide one and to attach it to the under bolts. I will contact them to see if one fits or if they will ship without the holes for us to do on receipt.

Unless its adjustable Id say the plate would likely be on a funny angle when fitted due to the slope of the Evora front splitter / underside.

Here in Oz, theyd give you a ticket anyway, even if the plate was in the boot.

Some people have bent them to match... I just provided measurements and offered to be a test case.

I have the stock plate adapter from the dealer uninstalled and it appears to hang pretty low and I've already bottomed out or near miss on some friends driveways.

Is the stock just, gulp, drilled into the bumper from below?

Thank goodness Pennsylvania does not require a front plate but even if they did Id just take the occasional fine over ruining the look of a sexy Lotus with a gaudy front plate.

3M velcro in middle of front bumper. Quick removal for track. I have a sto n Go on my GTS, great warning againt front rub as it has already worked... I really don't care if front plate takes the hit...ugly anyway.

I'm so glad the Houston cops dont care about front pates. I never had it on any of my cars. I know its required by law but living here 14 years and not a single ticket for it.

These guys here in San Antonio are relentless, I hate having it on all the time but I just rather avoid the hassle... I bought this product in Amazon and works with the tow hook, easy to remove if needed!

I actually got 3 tickets for no front through out 20 years of driving in houston. All got dismissed by just taking pic of the plate taping to the front bumper
