Gained a few lbs this month in Kansas.

Both the Evora and I anyway...

So I drove the Evora to BOE the first week of October to have their new supercharger kit installed aswell as a few other little bits while I was there.

I never met Phil, but was able to get a tour from Andrew who showed me all that was involved with the install on the shop cars and had all the parts laid out in the table explaining what their course of action was going to be. I actually left that day comfortable with the decision to drive half way across the country and leave my car in the hands of people I really didn't know.

So I just picked up the car on Monday and drove back to NY with a new addition. This thing is wicked. I haven't driven a 400 to compare, but this is more power than I need. I think Andrew said the car made 430 to the wheels. Personally I drive like an old man, but getting on the Long Island parkways with its short entrance ramps is no longer a concern.

So of course while I was there I asked where I should get some good Kansas City BBQ and they did not steer me wrong! So not only did my car pack on a few extra pounds I did aswell. It was definitely a long trip (1200+ miles) but worth it!

Sofar my impressions are this thing is fast! I haven't really floored it running thru the gears yet. But the power is instantaneous. I was actually not looking to go the forced induction route just based on my previous turbo cars. But wow..

My car had 36k at the time of install so now I'm at the 37k mark on stock parts.

I'll get more pictures when I can. Im currently working the next 3 nights so I'm a bit busy but when things settle down I'll post more information.

Took alittle less than 3 weeks. I don't think I was the only project there. I dropped it off on a Friday and Monday afternoon I had received my first call about the car(I had swapped the undertray to a 400 style for better cooling)

So to be clear, you had an NA Evora and got the Supercharger kit installed? Or was it an S and you wanted more power? Also, if you can disclose the pricing, I'd want to ask how much it costed you parts and labor.

Yeah 2011 NA car that had the NA stage 2 kit(headers, intake n tunr) now SC.

I was able to get in on this deal:
https://www.boefab.com/products/evor...ecooler-series

And for the labor I couldn't give a definite price because I did have some other things done. But it wasn't as bad as I was expecting.

Dude....stop right there. I can't take it anymore! You come on here, then start bragging about what you've had done to your NA 11. Didn't you know I wanted that!? Not cool man, not cool.

I've been drooling over this option from BOE. I've been wanting the same "massage" done but the costs, total package, it's got to be some coin. So jelly right now!

Nice. Looks like BOE's max power recipe stays just within the comfort zone of the 2GR's gearbox.

Seems one can buy an NA Evora for low 30s, add this package, and make considerably more power than a new Evora 400 while saving $20-30k.

All that work and coin just so you can merge on to the southern state parkway.

+TSRAGR, I would hope that no one can buy a NA Evora for low 30s unless it’s a rebuilt/salvage title.

Wait a minute! That was your Laser Blue Evora I saw on I-70 eastbound in Missouri this past Monday afternoon! I was headed westbound in my truck. Ironically enough when I sighted your Evora I was on the phone with an Ariel Atom dealer and he was just mentioning how an Evora S owner from Texas (also a forum member) just sold his car and bought an Atom from him. Straaaaaaange.

Your Evora looked great in motion!

Congrats John! I love what you did to your Evora. I would do the same if I have an NA.

I haven't seen any NA Evora in the mid 30s yet. But now with this power option available for the NA, it would be a great buy for a NA and installing this supercharger.
If I didn't have an S yet, I would be looking for an NA right now and get this install for the insane power. I have no problem merging onto the interstate from a short ramp with my S

Yeah, that's about mid 30s if you add in the 5% commission that BAT charges to the winning bid.

But you r right, if you look long enough you might find some higher mileage early Evora in this price range.

I would sell my 2011 NA 2+0 in fetching BRG all day long for low $30s.

However it seems that, at any given time, there are only two buyers in the market for an Evora nationwide. One of them doesn't have the money, and the other one posts "is the Evora really an exotic?" questions here for months until they finally buy the cheapest used R8 they can find, or whatever.

Since I've long since given up on the idea of selling my little Lotus, instead I'll probably end up putting a supercharger on it. I have one, it just needs some prep: it's currently wrapped in a wrecked '12 S. Somewhat more trouble than having the BOE guys install one of theirs, but it should be a fun project.

Not wanting to hijack. Looking forward to the OP's review of his souped 2011.

Hell yeah. I tend to use the NSP mist of the time. It's amazing how fast I get to 100 now. I have to back off. Before I used to worry about getting run over (round swamp road).

This weekend and next week I'll be doing alot of driving so I'll be able to give better impressions. But sofar with dealing with NYC stop n go traffic no problems.
