A used Plack would be great for ease of install. If you can’t find one, you can always go to a reputable muffler shop in your area and have them fab one up for you. I had a shop fab this up (they added the hangers) and it cost ~$170. Perfect fit and perfect sound!

Thanks for all of the info and feedback guys! I am told by my mechanic that the plack is a bad idea because I have a IPS and that the auto transmission relies on the back pressure generated by the exhaust for proper shifting. Has anyone ever heard of that?

Not true...I had a 2014 Evora S IPS with plack exhaust that didn't negatively impact shifting.

Maybe he was talking about gastrointestinal problems and was suggesting you need good back pressure for proper shi*ting.

You will love it...it sounds mean! Not to mention the 40lb weight savings. I will note...this exhaust is LOUD when you want it to be but can be fairly tame if your go foot isn't being too happy. You will have to contend with some drone, there is no way around it unless you add a resonator. For me, nah...I just run it stock. Have had it on the car for almost 3yrs now and it still makes me smile.

I fabricated an exhaust for my Evora S: Plack exhaust was just too loud. This one with a resonator is still aggressive, but not stupid aggressive. Final cost lower than a Plack.
Credit to MrMaru on LotusTalk for this design

Exhaust tip: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/vpe-1339
Resonator: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/vpe-1792
15 degree bend: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/vpe-13130
Exhaust flange: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/kok-7105s
Flange gasket: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-116003

Total parts cost: ~$200 including shipping.
My local general garage fabricated these parts into a finished exhaust for $275

Thanks for sharing mate. So itís similar to a Plack, but not quite as loud. Any drone? Does it still make the nice warble sound as youíre backing off the throttle in gear? Iím considering getting something made up to replace my Lotus Sports (Janspeed) exhaust.
