Had a custom bracket made... comes on and off in literally 2 seconds and uses existing bolts... no drilling at all.

Have one on my GTS. Centered is the way to go for most cars and it gives you the warning rub sooner too.

That looks great... how can I get one just like it? I'm on the other side of the country so no worries.... <img src="https://www.lotustalk.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Big Grin" class="inlineimg" />
I forgot to include their website... they are on your side... near San Jose

You need to email them and request a custom bracket. maybe just mention Lotus Evora custom shipped just last week.

I would make some tweaks... keep the plate bracket at 90 degrees, I tried to have a slight angle and ended up bending it back myself... I also had to put a washer spacer under it... would be better if they gave you a 1/8 th inch spacer that is bigger than just a washer.

Luckily Ohio is eliminating the front plate requirement next year...so I'm avoiding even putting a plate on the front at all. Its also only a secondary offense (would need to be pulled over for something else first), so I've been avoiding drilling any holes or anything...if they hadn't just passed that new law I would have definitely been interested in this, its a great idea!

ok all, I remeasured his questions, marked up my prototype and will send back tomorrow.

He is trying to bend the rods to get past the front black lip which drops a little below the body color (on the 400), then bend back up to sit higher in the front (this will help with driveways).

This may take some back and forth but will be worth it... he said he got many emails (from this forum and Facebook group).

As for the S1, measure the space between the front bolts. The 400 is 11 3/4 inches on center and that centerline is 6 inches away from the front lip. If that is the same, it should work for both.

Or the ironic term "plate readers"
