sport mode ready?

hi everybody

as we saw , folding mirror option can be ad with the swich
maybe just adding the button for sport mode if the wire arness is lying in the dash can work?

wish i had those extra rpm and throttle shapness it deliver

anyone try this?

Iím sure you could swap panels and boards to make the sport button a button. However, if the ecu doesnít know what to do with the input, it wonít go far. Similar to adding cruise control, youíd have to make the ecu recognize the button for it to work.

The question is if thatís something you can activate or deactivate with TechCenter. Im not sure, so hopefully someone with more knowledge can answer that question.

Sourcing the buttons would be the first step after finding if you can program the ecu, donít know how pricy those things are.

I'm pretty sure this is an option in the ECU that can be enabled with TechCentre. This is a screenshot from the service notes:
