Not sure what new head unit you are planning to install. Make sure to note which wire goes to which pin on the HU side connector. Don't assume and map it out in case there is slight variation. This may not be the case for all but it is a Lotus 🙂.

I found that whoever built my harness adapter that day did not follow standard wiring color code for the pin outs. I even had wires that were the same color!! Just an fyi.

Our "middle" daughter is in town from Seattle visiting us and got to see and drive the 400 for the first time. She giggled the whole way.

@lotusquacious That sounds like an awesome time with your daughter! Always so fun doing a drive with the fam. I'm sure she was glad to get out of our Seattle weather and have some good warm (relative ) fun in the sun with the fam and 400. What a blast!

We actually had good weather on Sunday and took a drive ourselves My wife and brother in the Evora, while my son and I took the Elise.

I miss my home town. (Sad face) More Lotus, Puget Sound, dim sum, legal substances. But I don't miss tent cities or crawling on Mercer Ave towards I-5!

See above. When the sun shines on the Northwest, it's as nice as it gets anywhere on earth. When the sun shines......

Yesterday Mrs. 4 Elise and I took our 2010 Evora on a glorious autumn drive up the Swift Trail here in Southern Arizona. The road rises from 3000 ' to 9600' in 25 miles of wonderfully twisty road. At that point the pavement stops and so did we, but you can go another 11 miles further and 1000 ' higher on gravel on if you wish. Couple of photos attached, on the road, and at our picnic stop. As fpr what I did today, I washed the car!

Oh nice! Iím new to southern Arizona and Iíve been wondering where to go for a good drive. Google maps isnít helpful when searching for Swift Trailójust looks like a straight highway. Is there an address or something specific I can search for?

This is on the agenda for me too at some point. How long to do it and how difficult? Anything you would do or upgrade while you have the dash off? Any fasteners that broke that I should have on hand to make sure I can put it all back together?

Here's a link to more on the Swift Trail: https://www.scenicusa.net/092609.html

Some other great Tucson area drives are the road up Mt Lemmon, the road from Amado to Arivaca, and Hwys 83 and 82 from Vail to Sonoita, Patagonia, and Nogales. The Tucson British Car Register is an active drivers club with several day trips every month and a coffee gathering every Tuesday morning from 7 to 9 at the Starbucks at Grant and Swan.

I've been told by the Regogo Racing mechanics that PC will hide initial cracks in the metal, so they don't recommend it; Paul Rego's affilated shop 'Sports Car World' is doing my repair work and upgrades.

Picked mine up from service today and took a drive through the desert to open it up before storing it for a while with a pretty driving companion 🙂
