What is the mileage on your Evora?
Hello all.

New to the forum. I have narrowed down to owning an Evora S 2+2 in the near future. Not in a huge hurry so I'll keep searching for the right one for the right price. (also have to go to the local dealer and do a test fit with my 2 kids 6 and 9 in the back).

All the ones I see that are anywhere from 11-14 with 4K - 20K miles.

I wanted to know what year (NA or S) you have, how long have you owned it and how many miles are on it?

I plan on DD this car with roughly 17K miles a year.

I've searched but could not find a thread with this information.

Welcome to the forum! You'll definitely find a wide range of mileage with the members here. I like to think of myself as a moderate user. I bought my NA IPS MY13 in October of 2013 brand new. I have just over 14K on the car right now. Keep in mind, for my climate, I have to store the car for the winter. Also, my insurance that I have on the car limits me to 7,500 miles a year. I use the car as a weekend warrior/special occasion car and not a DD. The Evora is a fun car and hopefully you find the one you're looking for!

could you explain your special insurance and why you got it? is it because you store it during the winter time so it would be cheaper to get that special insurance?

Mine is a MY2011 NA and I've had it a couple months now. Purchased with 33k and now I've got almost 35k.

What is the mileage on your Evora?
miles @ 28K+

bought new June '12

full year insurance limits us to 8500 miles/year @ $284/year

also place under cover and on "life support" (battery maintainer) from Dec to Mar each year

pay almost $300/year insurance for the '12 Elantra @ 82K+ miles - apparently more miles = more cost

2012 ips n/a. I run about 7-8k per year. @14,500 now.

2014 NA, daily drove it for the first year and put about 4800 miles on it. I just picked up a secondary vehicle to use on rainy days and weekend hiking/camping adventures. This will bring this year's mileage down a bit.

Welcome to LT.

2012 IPS Evora 2+0, 9116 miles. I have 7 cars to include two other Lotus listed below.

2013 NA, owned new since June 2014, current mileage 41000. I drove 80 miles daily. Just recently moved so my mileage should now be significantly less.

2010 NA had ~12000 miles when sold 7/11-3/14
2011 S has ~12000+. I usually drive the summer car 5000-7500mi/yr depending on track trips to Glen etc. They just run like their Toyota donated powerplants are designed to do.

'11 NA with 17K miles. I work mostly from home, so the miles just don't pile up.

Assuming you are in the US, pretty much all insurance is based on some annual mileage. For the most part, they default to 12-15k miles per year. However, if you know you'll be driving less, you can talk to your agent and negotiate a much lower rate based off of a lower annual mileage. It makes sense: fewer miles driven = statistically less chance of wrecking. Heck, it is something to look into if your daily commute is short or you don't drive much anyways.
