I have the NCI brackets for the exige scoops, this will work with that set up right? I guess in the end it doesn't matter since I just pulled the trigger on the hinge.

Anyone know if the Rear Panel Delete system included with the kit will allow for clearance on a 2bular GT3 design Exhaust? Im concerned about the angle of the pipe where the tips are hitting the lower/upper section of the rear panel delete.

Shout out for this hinge kit. I truly don't understand why everyone doesn't install this kit. The only possible reason would be if you have done nothing to your car. When you do, this is a MUST.

I'm trying to imagine how pissed off I would be if Lexus had welded the hood shut on my wife's IS-F.....

2.0

Just a heads up, following getting totally cleaned out of kits during a our Black Friday sale, we're tooling up and making more.

We're making larger batches than ever and passing the savings on.

the Clamhinge "2.0" has updated hardware, refined rear panel, and a revised clam support..... PLUS it's $200 cheaper!

Just installed the clam hinge 2.0

Well I just installed clam hinge 2.0 I am very happy to say that the installation process was not bad at all. The quality of the parts and packaging are all top-notch, I expected as much from Phil, Even his t-shirts are softer and nicer than everyone else's lol I especially love the new rear diffuser mount which looks badass on the car. My only question is I would like to figure out a way to leave my side scoops mounted while raising and lowering the clam. I'm just trying to make it as quick as possible to do a clam lift. Also on another note is there anything other than the air filter I should cover up while power washing the inside of this engine bay it's disgustingly bad LOL. Best way I can describe it is when you finally decide to move your refrigerator out from the wall and take a look underneath pretty scary stuff to say the least lol.

I really want a clam hinge for my exige to but I just can't unbolt the side scoops every time, I'm willing to cut the clam where they are mounted so I could mount the to the body but where can I get these brackets? Seems like such an easy fix?

This is a really cool mod! I'm just curious as to what advantages/disadvantages you may have when you install this on your car?

Interested to hear what they say. The main reason I haven't put on a clam hinge is I like my side scoops too much.

Edit: Heh, that was from 2013 .. Nevermind

Trunk space and usage remains unchanged, unless you do the battery relocation included in the kit, in which case you will get more space.
I just did this mod 2 weeks ago. If easier engine access is what your after, this is the kit to have.
