Heya team!

This is a great idea, does anyone use it to mount a bike rack? My mountain bike is around 15kgs, would like to be able to get two on there so maybe around 50kgs (over estimating to be safe) including the rack. Would this be a strong enough solution?

Thanks,
Ben from Australia.

Ben,

Just guessing, but I would think so. The main bolts that hold it on are 2 M8's and their tensile strength is well above 50KG.

Cheers,

Fred

I have the BOE hitch for my Elise. I was using it to tow a small trailer to haul a full set of tires, tool box, floor Jack and a few odds and ends. I started to ride a road bike again and use hitch for that, no problem. A fellow biker commented "nice car rack".
