DIFFLOW: Our new Flat Diffuser!

The time has finally come for us to unveil our latest diffuser. It's called the "Flat Diffuser" by Difflow. I think you'll figure out why we call it the flat diffuser. The diffuser is aprox 4 inches longer than OEM. It's angle of attack is 11.5 degrees. The diffuser was designed by auto-crossers and track racers from around the country. We gathered feedback from many people, seeing what angle they wanted, what shapes, fins, compatibility, etc. The end result turned out nice. A beautiful flat diffuser that matches the curves of the car that will function beautifully.

- Fins extend all the way foward to the undertray for proper air channeling from front-to-back.
- Fins sit nearly parallel to ground, tapering up a 1/2 from front to back. 5.5 inches off the ground on stock suspension.
- Diffuser body is roughly 4 inches longer than OEM, keeping the air from swirling behind the car to a minimum, reducing drag.
- Diffuser body sits at 11.5 degrees, a track tested and popular request from auto-cross and race car drivers.
- Comes with a custom rear panel and license plate mount.
- Rear of diffuser has the same radius as the back of the Lotus clam to give it a professional styling.
- Constructed from Aluminum, handles curb rash easily, fins can be replaced, can be powdercoated any color, won't discolor from heat.
- Works with all after market exhausts and we can cut a hole in the diffuser to accommodate your thru-diffuser exhaust, free of charge.
- Fits 2005-2010 Elise and 2006+ Exige. OEM replacement, no drilling/cutting required. Takes 10 minutes to install.

The diffuser is available for purchase on the website, retailing at $575.00 USD + shipping, anywhere in the world.
Order here: Difflow Diffusers - Lotus Elise, Exige, Evora, Acura NSX, Nissan GTR or PM me.

****We can shorten the diffuser, add/remove fins, move fins around, make the diffuser longer, cut exhaust holes, - whatever you want, FREE OF CHARGE.

More pics coming this weekend as we go to Boise to fit it on another Lotus.

Wow, that will be perfect for my Dragon. Especially since we are have a friendly autox competion this summer. And I have just been thrilled with my Railer due to the quality and abuse it took

That looks awesome. Does it still bolt to the clamshell just behind the rear tires, or is it only held up in the back by the rear panel delete?

I'd love to see shots of the underside, either on or off the car.

Bolts up to the sides of the clam on the elise and exige - same mounting holes and same screws

And yes, I'll be in Boise Friday Night, staying with advanracing62 (Tim). Hopefully meeting a few other Lotus owners! Karting sounds fun too! I'm actually heading to California, so I'm going through Reno and the Bay Area and I am driving my truck, so I have about 15 diffusers with me if anyone wants to save on shipping and meet by the highway or in a town along my route.

THat's really nice!

what's it weigh?

Wish you could make a carbon version as an option.

Maybe I am a bit harder on stuff than most, but the ability to bend the aluminum back into shape, compared to where the carbon piece would have shattered, is worth its weight in gold.

Been through at least 5 fields with my Railer, just take it off, bend it back, reinstall...

Thx Shay, haven't officially weighed it yet, but should be around 14 lbs.

CF just isn't great for diffusers. The exhaust burns them, they can crack easily, they are expensive, can't replace fins, can't powdercoat them, and 75% of it is under the car anyway so why pay $2000 for a diffuser that can barely be seen. Just not worth it for the cost of saving 5 lbs.

Glenn, why wasn't I made aware of this product before I ordered my original? This also comes with an eliminator! 😠

JK, I love my original! 😄

Hey - My name is Dave and I'm from Bozeman, MT and Glenn used my orange car to do the test fitting of this design and final product. It seems that I have the only Elise for a long way so Glenn asked if he could drive the 3 hours each way to try the prototypes on my car.

I am very impressed with how well the piece fits.........all the holes line up perfectly and the bolts just drop right through without having to flex or push anything to get them to align - not as easy thing to do I should think.

I look forward to having one of my own this coming spring once the snow melts here in Montana.

Good step in the right direction, Glenn!

A couple years ago, we did a bunch of research on flattening the diffuser among other design changes.

Found very significant improvements to air attachment at all speeds dropping the diffuser down to 11 degrees or so, along with extending the fencing, and shrouding the wheel openings. Have videos floating around the shop server with 3 chasecams mounted *under* the car (only 1 chasecam was harmed in the making of the film) and on the back of the car recording yarn attached throughout the entire undertray and diffuser.

There was a time that we sold the aero "kit" which had a different undertray to compliment the diffuser (BOE Fabrication - Lotus Elise, Exige, and Evora Performance ECM Tuning Products), but shipping was just too complicated with the oversized parts. We still use the same design on our personal and some local race cars.

This new difflow offering should be a solid improvement for you track rats out there...

Agree, traditional carbon "sheets" don't belong on a diffuser on that sees track work. By the end of the season, my diffuser is scrap metal!

I'll have one on my car tomorrow- sadly, the weather isn't as nice here as it appears to be in MT6. Looking forward to seeing it in person and see how this works with the clam hinge, for those that have and are curious.

Anyone that wants to come by, or hang out later is more than welcome just PM Gelnn or myself and we'll get you sorted.

FWIW- I have extended drop clamhinge rear panels in the new design that would sure work perfectly with Glenn's new diffuser since the angles are the same... They're not on my website, but I do keep a supply of them... pic of the rear of my car here at the end of the season with the 11 degree diffuser and extended drop clamhinge rear panel :

I wasnt planning on buying much for my elise this summer, but this diffuser is really tempting...

lets see how much I get back in tax returns

also, from what i'm reading this should mount to the sector111 rear panel eliminator without issues?

'05 ST Elise: DHP exhaust, Quantum Zero's, Forge MS radiator, s111 v3 eliminator, s111 DSbrace, ce28n, ic7 dash...

Wont work with the S111 rear panel elim or the BWR elim due to the angle of the diffuser. Our rear panel is included with the diffuser for free with every order.
