Interested as to weither the side skirts will fit an Exige, or how much modification is required to make them fit.

The side skirts on that site don't look like the factory ones do. The vertical portion at the front wheel looks like it's just floating out there with nothing supporting it, and the front splitter looks different as well. Also, $3600 for just side skirts? Yeah no..

WoW, much to do about nothing! For those prices you'd be better off to buy directly from Lotus! Reminds me of Carbon 1 John...

She's on! Very easy install on my 2011,I didn't have to remove the pan at all. I chose to not drill any holes in the front clam-so the splitter is secured underneath the car and I used "3M Extreme Duty" double sided tape to secure the splitter ends to the fenders. Seems very secure-the splitter seemed very secure without the ends installed so the tape is not really structural. The splitter fit perfectly-a big congrats to Abe and Aiden from Lotus of West Covina, they really made a quality piece. Rich

Bad idea with the tape. This works great until you get up to speed.

it will never hold with tape. it will come off at speed and most likely do damage to car. you need to put it on with fender washers and drill holes

No chance it will come off completely,it is bolted to the splitter in three places, the worst thing that would happen is it would pull away from the fender-and then only slightly. I doubt that will happen at all as it was pretty tight against the fender without the tape-there is very little pressure there- the splitter takes the brunt of it and it is very stiff (the splitter is about a 1/4" thick) and it wraps around the fender lip to further strengthen it from going forward and if I'm wrong ,then I will drill a hole in my car. Here is a picture of the 3 bolts and the tape-I think it will be fine. To each his own guys, this was my own solution for mounting-you guys can drill away. Rich

So you are saying you used tape AND bolts. This is obviously more effective.

The only bolts I didn't use was the ones for the pedestals under the grille and on the side pieces, the other bolts holes were already in the car on the bottom-so no holes in my clam-you didn't think I put the whole thing on with tape did you?... Rich

That's EXACTLY what it sounded like. The last thing anyone here wants was for you to run over you nice new splitter.
