These are boat builders. Most are spraying fiberglass through a chopper gun. Thick, heavy, and not that strong.

I was in the industry locally here in Fl. for a few years. many boats and parts are infused with high tech materials or hand laid . The tooling is the important step. Once you have molds you can make parts as heavy or light as you wish
