That hype machine is still going, huh?
Has the government given them hundreds of millions of dollars yet?

So how many of the roadsters have been delivered now. 200? 250? Wasn't it going to be 800 in the first year production originally when they were trying to convince people to put deposits down? Are they still raising prices on those people?

they are at "just over 200" so... 201?

Ive detailed it all here in this thread:

https://www.lotustalk.com/forums/1220463-post8.html

where I have been posting regular updates and totally clobbering paul's defense of their rediculous production numbers and estimates... remember that the 2008 production run of 600 is supposed to be finished by the 3rd week in april (nevermind that its already 2009) but there is no way thats going to happen anyway... lates figures indicate that they havent ramped up from the 15/month they were doing back in december. My bet is that when we actually hit may 1st and they are nowhere near finished that they are going to blame supply chain problems (which is actually what i said would be a problem in the first place...)

Infiniti Essence hybrid concept

According to Infiniti insiders, the Essence concept set-up recently revealed is "pretty close to reality." I like the swoopy styling direction these hybrid and electric vehicles seem to be taking. Fisker and Tesla better get moving on their projects or they'll get shoved to the side. I'd take a 600bhp hybrid from Infiniti over a dream from Tesla any day, particularly if it looked like this.
