True. It wouldn't be getting near the hype from every geek blog on the net if it looked like a Honda Odyssey van.

I missed that about the collision insurance so I went back and looked... no mileage limitation either! That's a nice bonus.

Shame most of the hydrogen appears to be coming from fossil fuels though.

I was far more impressed with and curious about it than the Tesla. $600/mo. for a 3-yr. lease only deal is a bit much to stomach for a Honda.

Well any talk of price needed to be put in perspective. That Honda FCX lease is a great deal for the drivers (if they care) they still have to buy fuel but the car cost 1.5M to 800K so that's a real good deal they are getting.

So the hydrogen future car is a million dollars, you still have to buy corporate made fuel that was transported to non-existent 100 million dollar filling stations. No thanks, I tired of waiting.

Whoa! I've had a million dollar car in my garage for two days!

Fuel is free, for the time being, at the already existent fuel station

This may be a repost, but I got this via email today....

World Exclusive: First Complete Test of the 2009 Tesla Roadster

RoadandTrack.com -- New Car Search - World Exclusive: First Complete Test of the 2009 Tesla Roadster (2/2009)

painful to read a comparison to a Mustang in handling

"And, though its tire choices promote a bit more understeer than purists might prefer, its skidpad grip of 0.92g is commendably high as well. (The Shelby GT500 Super Snake is a good matchup in these two activities.)"

Can't say too much about it just yet, but, it drives like a Honda that whirs and whines instead of making engine noises.
Perhaps what is most notable about it is that there is nothing notable about it, i.e, it does everything you would expect a Honda (or any other car) to do
