WTB: 2006-2008 Elise

I'm looking for a 2006-2008 Elise without crazy miles (under 75k or so). Looking for limited slip dif, traction control, and Touring package. Previous body work is okay, but no salvage title and no current body damage unless it's really priced in. Dark colors preferred. I'm willing to pay a fair market price for what it is. michaelsamueljoseph[at]gmail.com

You mean "limited slip" differential.

Thanks for catching the typo. I had "split" on my mind due to some work I was doing at the time and my fingers outpaced my brain. That said, I sure hope it doesn't split either

Nearly everyone will swear they have a limited slip differential, but it's easy to check. https://www.lotustalk.com/forums/f25...as-lsd-108976/

There's also some question as to whether it is a plus or a minus. https://www.lotustalk.com/forums/f25...uestion-18906/

Yep, just looking for that little button. It's more the traction control I want to make it a bit safer for my wife, but they generally come together.

Not so much really. I know my Exige S doesn't have the LS diff. I did notice the TC when my tires were bald.

Without a supercharger or tires that have no business being installed anyways, you absolutely do not need TC for you or your wife. Yes, there are ways to get in trouble with this car (like any car) but hitting the gas too hard is not one of them. Just pointing this out because you are already limiting your options down to under a thousand cars in the country just because of the color alone.

Thanks for everyone's advice. I ended up buying a 2005 with under 20k miles without the LSD or TC based on this advice. Since I found the color, condition, miles, and price I wanted I figured I should take it.
SS Lotus Elise likes this.
