WTB Lotus Exige S240

Hello fellow members! My name is James and I will be looking for an Exige S240 starting January 1st. Long story short I took a new job and had an opportunity to take my vehicle allowance money up front as a signing bonus and the wife and I used it for some home renovation stuff. Starting Jan 1 I get my vehicle allowance back which will help fund the new weekend toy.

Yes, I know I am a little ahead of myself but I figure I would at least try to get ahead in the market of anybody else looking early new year. With the rarity of these cars they do not stay available long it looks in today's world.

If anybody is not in a rush to sell their beloved S240 I can also make a $$$ deal to hold it for 2 months. Odds are slim, but thought I'd throw it out there.

Many moons ago I had to let go of my Exige S for a new house and now I am on the quest to get another Exige.

Prefer Isotope Green or Persian blue but open to others.

Thank you guys!

Thanks Matt, I appreciate it. If I didn't previously own a Exige S I would probably first jump into the Elise to see if I like the platform. But I love the platform. Just been tooooo long away from it.

Glad you are enjoying your S240!!!

Yup, the 240 is awesome. Test drove one back in 08' and it was ridiculous.

*BTW OP, what kind of budget are you working with? I'm sure you have seen the Isotope 240 on Autotrader?

Currently:
2005 Lotus Elise
2015 Audi A3 Wife's car
2012 Toyota Prius C Daily Commuter
Sold:
2006 Pontiac Solstice
2003 350z Touring

When I drove the S, I was sold. It's just so nimble.

I did see that one, it is being sold here on the forum and it looks like somebody wants it in front of me and since I gotta wait a couple months it may not happen.

Budget is $60K.

This car is for sale, make him an offer.

It has just about the best parts you can get in every category.

It is an 07, but he has the AP bbk, which is the biggest difference

Absolutely beautiful car!! But I'm kinda wanting to go down my own route so I'm looking for something closer to stock. Although he has a lot of fantastic parts that I will go with, like the shifter, he also has several things I wouldn't want.

Thanks for sharing Matt.
