Too bad you don't have a dual-tip SE, I'd buy an extra, love this damn exhaust!

I've heard that. If I can count you for 2 perhaps we should do a special order. Larini doesn't make them anymore, but if we got 6 or so people that wanted them, I could do a custom order.

Can anyone chime in with how loud the GT2 and GT3 are? I don't want super loud and I go to one track with a 98 decibel limit, but I don't want super quiet either. I currently have the Larini Sport, which I love, but will be going supercharged over the winter, so need to updrade.

By the time I figure this out, I am sure the one I want will no longer be on sale.

In the website description, Blackwatch lists the GT3 as the option you want for "tracks with strict dB limits." 98 dB at what distance? Generally, 98 dB is very doable.

I took the strict db limit to be Laguna Seca's 92. I was more asking if the GT2 would be ok for 98 at 50 ft.

It is a very site dependent thing. GT2 using A weighting, slow-response at 50' is possible, but certainly not guaranteed. Terrain, humidity, and temperature make alot of difference. If you're concerned about sound the GT3 would be the safer play.

BTW, i am going to start another thread for a SE style dual tip pre-order. If we get 5 orders, we'll build a one-off batch.

Thanks Fzust, I like the look of the dual tip but I need one that will work with a supercharger.

2bular is the one you need. They were as expensive as drugs, and are no longer made. I had a chance to get a new one, one of the last ones to be made, and kick myself for not doing it.

There are people that run the dual exit exhaust with a supercharger. You probably lose some horsepower and shorten the life of the exhaust, but it's doable.

Won't it eventually blow the packing out?

I'm no expert, but that's what I meant by shorten the life. That's being said, I've met people that have been using them for years with blowers and no issues. But again, I'm no expert and I'm sure others will have strong opinions about this.

No problem, thanks for your input. I'm no power monger, so leaving some HP on the table to use the exhaust I want is totally fine with me.

Having said that, there must be some truth to the packing story, as I've heard it several times over the years. Maybe some of these members could comment on it.
