Glad to hear the project is still progressing. Are you adding a vacuum or compressed air system?

Well I have a compressor and a shop vac There is no need to plumb these things into walls, the garage is not THAT big!

Good call.
I'm the guy that took a free 8x10 garden shed and spent about $4,500 installing it.

Looks awesome! I know it's garish to ask, but what sort of budget did you have for this project?

Are you doing an epoxy on the floor, or just keeping it concrete?

Doing a (relatively) minor garage update on my older house is tough (we have an Eichler, so keeping the aesthetic while updating things is always a challenge). Manage to clean it up and drywall/paint, but looking for floor and door ideas.

Total bill will be near twice what I paid for my Lotus.

I will apply some epoxy-based paint on the floor. I'm going to go low budget on this one, I'm just broke

I put down Bauer brand epoxy paint, over a 50 year old garage floor with lots of oil stains, which has held up well over the past few years. When comparing prices it was the cheapest once all the buckets, roller covers, flecks... were included. I would probably go with a different brand/system if I had to go fix a bunch of cracks and divots.

The "dot" is the brand, Canadian Technical Tape. It is used to seal de vapor barrier joints. When using polyurethane on walls there is no need to use a vapor barrier as the polyurethane itself is a vapor barrier. That's why you only see red tape on the ceeling.

Considering how much he's spent to insulate the garage, I think he mad the right choice. Plus hydroelectric power is cheaper up there.
