Finally after lusting for 32 years...

I sat in my first Lotus 32 years ago (when I was 15) at Star Motors in Houston and have been addicted ever since. I've had a 300ZX and a Vette and yet always dreamed of the Esprit so much that I think I drove my family crazy. Well finally after all of these years I have got my dream car...2002 Red Esprit with black interior and red stitching. I have been researching the car and reading anything I could on it since I was 15. It is everything I thought it would be. I got up twice the first night and walked into the garage and just stared at it!

That's a car worth getting up in the middle of the night to stare at!

Congratulations.

32 Years

32 years ago...you must have just finished watching The Spy Who Loved Me (from 1977) with the underwater Lotus.

Great car!! Looks lovely.

Thanks

Thank you for all of the well wishes and congrats. I just can't wipe the smile off of my face when I am driving it. It has been fun trying to get used to all of the attention that the car gets. It is really unbelievable how much attention you get. I actually was pulled over 3 times in the first 5 days I had the car for no reason by the local police department. It won't be long and I will have met everyone on the force!
