Came across a Lamborghini last night...actually, he came across me...I was waiting at a light as he pulled up behind me, then around me and passed me in the turning lane as the light went green.

Purple Lambo, black wheels, tinted windows coming from the West Chester / Chadds Ford area...Bam Margera immediately came to mind...

We drove together for a couple of miles...top speed just touching tripple digits.

Awesome car, and congrats! It's funny that you mentioned you tried to fit a hockey stick in the Exige and you could. I thought I'd have to stick it out the windows or leave the top off on mine if I wanted to play!

BTW: if you haven't figured out the most "graceful" way to get in and out of your car, slide your right leg all the way in until it touches a pedal, and then get your butt and other leg in. Get out by doing the same thing in reverse.

Cheers!

Thanks man! I guess it's a matter of, um, how big your stick is...yeahhhhh, that doesn't sound good. I'm a "dangler" and set-up guy, thus I use a real short stick - often mistaken for a little kid's stick...but I do not have a "toe drag" in my repituare!

I'm cool on getting in and out now...took a couple times to practice...also, with the soft top on now, I am popping the driver side off and rolling a little before i get in...guess that's cheating...getting out I use a little hop after I plant my left foot...

No doubt...what's with this story?

Lamborghini Gallardo owned by Bam. Billy Idol cut a hole for the sunfoof with a chainshaw

I am not a fan of his work, thus don't keep up with the wackiness of Jack Ass or any of Viva La Bam...but him being from my neck of the woods you hear about him once in a blue...

Last night at the tail end of a nightly cruise I saw "exotic" tail lights from about a quarter mile away...I thought it was a Ferrari...got closer..."it's an Elise!".

We drove together for about 3 miles. Very cool.

Pearl Jam closed down the Spectrum this past weekend...see the banner...big fan...and I worked at the Spectrum for a long while...so what's appropriate? Of course take a pic of the Elise out front!

...about a month ago the HVAC system went dead...no fan, lights would not come on. I was some what concerned, but figured the issue would be covered under warranty...

Took the car in for the 7500 mile service...turns out that I must have knocked a connection loose under the passenger side dash with one on my hockey sticks...no harm no foul car is fine...and I felt rather silly.

Love this car.

Good to see that your enjoying the car

Studies show 100% of people die. Might as well have some fun.

Enjoying it would be an understatement...my wife is worried that she might catch me humping it after one of my cruises...

Seriously, this car has far surpassed my expectations. I was initially concerned that the "feeling" would wear off, but the more I drive it the more I love it...and I am not even driving it "hard"...typically it's 50 mile casual cruises on the area high ways...never had a standing start, rarely hit the second cam now except to get up to speed getting on the highway...simply just enjoying the ride, the agility and the beauty.

For those on the fence, do the research and then buy it...you will not regret it.

THAT's what I wanted to hear...that you love driving even MORE (2500 miles and some months later) than when you first got it! How are you coping with winter?

We got 48" of snow in a week...so, I'm not going to drive it any time soon...tough to watch the snow pile up on top of the cover (not garage kept), so I have dug out around the car and make sure I start it and let it run for about 10 minutes about every 3 days...very tough to sit in it, start, listen to it purr and not go for a spin...still pretty to look at though.

...one year ago yesterday I started this thread...man I was a nervous wreck.

6,200 miles later my appreciation and love of this car still grows with each drive...can't wait to get a year under my belt (about two weeks from now).

If you are on the fence, all I can say is do your homework and then GO FOR IT!!!
