Aston Martin DBR2

One of only two built and raced in 1957-8. This examples first race was driven by Sir Stirling Moss in a winning effort. Last time one sold it went for about $2.7M, a rare car that won the people choice award at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance

Ginetta G12

Less than 50 of these race cars were built, between 1965-68. It was mid-engine, about 1200lbs and made use of a Lotus twin-cam 1600cc motor. Was a bit of a giant killer for its day.

Checking out the Forced Fed "test mule" turbo car

At the Lick Observatory

Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge

Listen in on the drivers meeting before the race. They noted, lots of contact at the last race. Asked for a cleaner race and pointed out where you can and can not pass at Laguna Seca. They proceeded to go out and draw lots of contact and spin outs... made for entertaining spectating.

Lotus 19B

One of the last 19 and only B version built (1963), with a King Cobra Ford 289. It got it's nickname, because it would win the pole and lead early in it's races. However the trnsmission was the weak spot and it would rarely finish a race.
