Another Exige for Macau Road Race

Just off the jack with 2.0 engine + Evora S supercharger & Motec ECU. Hope it won't burn up again.

Your post said it was caused by an aftermarket fuel rail. Is that the case or was it install error. If it's the former it would be good to let everyone know what solution to avoid.

Not installation error, as they tried to install on a yellow Exige, and found out need to fill down a little bit to give clearance to the OEM S/C. So the owner said no. Then it was installed on that Exige.

I was going to install it Luckily I didn't

Don't want to name the supplier, but need to be careful with fuel.

I'd love to hear more about the fuel rail. I'm having trouble seeing how that could be a cause other than an installation error. No need to disclose the manufacturer.

Gotcha. Modifying the fuel system is definitely dangerous. All of the fires I'd seen/heard about were on cars with something modified on the fuel system. Swirl pots, rails, breathers, fillers...be careful.

another one bites the dust

In the US "MSRP" means Manufacters Suggested Retail Price which became law in the late 1950's in order to "protect" the citizenry from unfair 'markups' on new vehicles. Boy that one sure worked out well, huh?

This happened right in front of my home this morning.

Luckily he/she didn't miss the concrete block, otherwise it should hit the rail ( in the second picture ) and fail into the sea.
