Just got off the phone with allstate they offered 26.8, i respectfully declined this process isn't easy and with the "low ball" offer makes it more difficult, if thier was a button i can press to rewind time i would

The Allstate Ins adjuster looked at it a few times, said "damn that was a nice car". He did not know how to value the car, so they called in some special adjuster and ultimately they gave me $42k for the car.

However I gave him a box full of documentation detailing every mod and the costs of those mods.

Hope that helps.

If you dont mind me asking how much did the mods come out too?

Wise decision. There is enough data here to support a $32 to $34K offer. Or a $28 to $30K offer and you get to keep the upgrades. Wirewheel is selling salvage title cars for that offer. Best of luck my friend!

I had well over $10K in mods and my Allstate policy was written as a "replacement" policy. Allstate had to pay me enough to replace the current car as is. That insurance was a bit more, but the only way to go.

Wow, that's not bad. I know it isn't 100% back on your mods, but it is a win that they even conceded anything without a previous agreement on value.

What's the plan now? My vote is to get a wirewheel car then spend the remainder on doing it bigger and better for "free"

I'm not sure if it is, because on the corner of the frame has been bent, so you would have to replace the front aluminum frame
