I doubt that, an Elise could be "totalled" just by placing a car jack 4" too far in.
Much easier and less police scrutiny if someone were looking to do that sort of thing.

Just moved to Phoenix, anyone else here?

You should be able to screen out that level of crazyness before hand. I am guessing it was apparent from the start but obfuscated by a big rack or similar.

Or might just be crazy enough myself to want these passionate nuts around. Makes me wonder.

Some of 'em might be worth giving up a car or two for.

it looks more like someone wanted to get out of loan payments, wanted it salvaged, an angry wife/girlfriend would not remove the seats, there is probably some water or sand inside the engine, just to make sure it would not run again..

Reminds me of when Nick Faldo's 959 Porsche was totaled by his GF with a golf club.

Not everyone that buys one knows how easily an Elise is totaled. First thing...to do this extensive damage you would have to have it in a very remote location. Who's owns an Elise and parks it completely away from anyone and everyone so no one hears this being done. This thing was worked over for a while. Vandals usually do quick damage and move on to the next car. Unless it's parked in a very remote area. Which can be easily staged in such an area. We will never know but that's what it looks like.

I dated one that confessed to salting her ex husbands front yard. I forgot what she tried to spell. She was totally crazy and seeing three different therapists and they couldn't get her meds dialed in while she talked about killing herself. She's a middle school teacher. Totally normal and awesome 80% of the time and able to hide it all for few months. Sweet southern girl that had a great family and childhood. She could lie like a politician on top of all that.

The scariest part was she really wanted to have BABIES. Like, begging for one she wanted one so bad.

Its scientific fact that crazy girls are the best in bed. That's why no matter how much I pretend I'm sick of them, ill always go back. I work through my problems lol.

America has always been defined by its excess. The Grand Canyon, professional sports contracts, Wendy’s baconator, extra bacon! I myself have 18 Lamborghinis, and a Subaru station-wagon. And it’s because of this excess that I have flourished. I implore you, please do not stop profiting. Live for excess, it’s the American way.

OMG SCCPC11125HL31513 VANDALISM

I know a girl that paid to have an electrician friend take every light switch and electrical socket out, cut the lines flush in the electrical boxes, then put it all back together like nothing was wrong in her boyfriends house as she was moving out.

I know another that took one of her guys trucks and sideswiped him in his other SUV. Totaling both

And yes. Crazy does equal good in bed, even in both of these cases.

I'm voting pissed off girlfriend. Probably under 26 years old or so.
