Bubble wrap in multiple directions and cocoon it. Then any local shipping place could make a box that fits perfectly. This is how the tops ship from the UK. No pallet required as the weight isn't that high.

I've shipped two across the country this year with no problems.

Are you the one that bought it from CoParts? That's the only reason I could figure you would be asking about the stereo. Are you talking about the lower left part that has the controller on it?

The control plate for the stereo along with both keys and both remotes were turned into the insurance company and should have been in an envelope that came with the car.

Btw, the exhaust on it is the Larini SE with the euro-factory finish pieces that were picked up from Sector 111. The headlights were an HID upgrade from one of the members on here but not sure they are doing them anymore. I put them on the car very shortly after buying it. Speakers were upgraded to Polks (common) and the deck was only about 3 years old and worked perfectly though I did keep my SD card out of it (didn't come with it anyhow). Without the face that won't matter so I'd yell at CoParts for it.

I had just set aside some cash to order brakes as they needed them badly, especially front rotors. I get the impression this is going to be a part-out (hopefully at any rate) so that won't matter. Calipers are good.

With regards to the top, are you in the TN/NC area? I'm not sure I even want to try to ship it.

Oh, and Congratudolences on buying the car. It did save my life but she was bent enough that I couldn't put the top on or close the doors. Alas, after 9.5 years and 78k miles she paved the way for me to upgrade to an Exige S240 in the spring.

I hope they aren't planning to fix this car then sell it to someone. The chassis is not only bent, but bent diagonally. It's never going to drive nor handle correctly even if they can get the static suspension to fit within parameters. I'd really hate for someone to buy it and think this is how a Lotus was supposed to feel... Sheesh.

Btw, Doge, you DO want that Larini SE exhaust! Unlike the Stage II it is quieter around town, picks up a few DB more than stock on the 2nd cam, doesn't drone like the Stage II (IE: you don't need a pocket full of asprin and ear plugs to be in it for more than ten mins), etc. It also looks a lot better coming out over the diffuser than the afterthought-looking stock ones.

EVEN IF i was to put the car up for sale, it has a branded title so i any potential buyer would be aware of what happened.

either way. shes staying with me, I needed a new race car. thanx for the concern enjoy ur new ride in the spring.
