Yellow Exige in LA

Just wondering if anyone has an opinion of the wrecked yellow Exige that is for sale on eBay in Gardena, CA.

It's damaged all over and doesn't run, which make the ask seem expensive. It's difficult to tell from the pictures but the right rear may be damaged and that could be structural.

I have in mind building something not so standard so wonder if this might be a good starting point.

Thanks,

Ian

If the frame is damaged then it is useless. Otherwise, it sounds like you're replacing a lot so your vagueness makes any other advice futile

It is on copart as well. In that listing you can see that there is damage to the right rear suspension. Which can mean damage to the suspension pick up points.
I would post the link but copart is not working at the moment.

I found it, that one was talked about here before and would be a huge risk. It was a track car apparently and has damage everywhere, not just the rear corner. Looking at the toe of that rear wheel, the suspension is toast. The frame might still be okay since the a-arms are analogous to fuses and fail earlier than the frame (speaking from experience here), but I would never ever assume that to be the case without an inspection.

yellow exige

I saw this car in person the aluminium frame rail on the passenger side that meets up with the rear engine sub frame is crushed from a hard rear impact. The indirect damage to the rear of the aluminium tub is more severe than the direct damage to the engine sub frame. The interior is ruined from being outside with no roof. Two of the wheels are very bent as well.
