Upgrade.

Hi Phil what supercharger are you using to get to 25 psi. Do you think using a 70 mm throttle body (DBW) would be worthwhile upgrade on my Rev 400 setup ( Ported head, stage 3 cams running pump E85 on the track ) will it have any detrimental effects on this as a daily.
Thanks
Still jealous of what you are able to achieve.

It's a Whipple 2.3 liter s/c. Recall Phil saying something about it being custom - hope that helps.

Rev X Rev 400 comparison

The torque curves, same dyno with my Rev 400 setup 65 mm pulley vs Rev X both on E85. Now with Ferrea roller rockers. It idles perfectly even down to 850 rpm which was a major surprise as it only uses the “big cam” profile all the time.

Are you saying this because pump E85 can sometimes be E40 or some other lower ethanol mixture?

E85 does vary but haven’t seen it down to 40. Winter blends can be 65-70. The ability to use a flex fuel sensor handles that and blending with std pump gas nicely....
