Helmet/Gloves and whatnot in the Bay Area

Hiya!

Well, obviously there is only one bay area in the US
Anyway, more seriously, I need to get me a helmet (I have been using a motorcycle one for the past few track days and I don't see that as a good idea). I have a motorcycle racing background and while I know where to buy gear for riding (cycle gear, We All ride, etc), I have no idea where in the San Josť area I could find helmets, gloves and perhaps shoes for track days...

Any suggestion?

TIA

The shop at Sears Point are the local guys I deal with:

Usually when I go up for a track day or at Laguna, when they show up for the Historic races.

I recall the fellow at WCMS mentioned they do deals for HOD drivers from time to time. You might ask. Probably apocryphal, but who knows, you might get lucky.

They now recognize me, which is a bad sign.

Ended up at Sears Point, funny too cos there was an AFM race week-end (I used to race with the AFM). Anyway, I got me a new helmet and some neato gloves (sparco I think).
I have also bought a Bride seat, which I will install this week (waiting to receive the rails) and a V bar from S111 as well as the harness and a fire extinguisher (came with the 'track pack'). I reckon I went on a shopping spree... arrghhhh.

BTW, HOD peeps recognize me too

OT question, but does anyone know shops in the Bay Area that have Castrol SRF or Endless RB-650 brake fluid in stock? I can't seem to find a shop that carries one except for places that are across the coast.

Haven't heard of anyone stocking SRF around here, but there are a few good deals online with free shipping. I know Mach III and Fatlace stocks RB-650 in sf.

Fatlace is actually open? I've been to Japan town a bunch of times, and every time I go that place is closed.

They're open for sure, but I stopped getting the RB-650 from them a while back since I switched to SRF. Though, there's a place in san mateo that sells RBF600 for $16/bottle if you want motul.

I just picked some RF-650 from Fatlace--$20 a bottle (500ml), pretty good deal.

Thanks for the tip Kingsol!
