Mr Know- we're roughly the same size... I must of lucked out and got the next to last one. It's a good buy and jumped on it as well. Even through, recently picked up a two-pieces suit.

Manshoon11, thanks for the find and tip.

Agreed, a comparable suit looks to start at $500+. I always knew being the size of a race car driver or jockey would pay off

It is my pleasure. I spent many hours looking so I am relieved that my effort paid off, and did so to such an extent to find an official suit WELL PRICED.
I hope it is waiting for me when I arrive back in town from business.

I will definitely be peacocking in my new fire suit!!!

After more research, it looks like Well Priced is an understatement. I believe this is a more comparable base suit: Impact Racing Team One.

My suit arrived!!! However I am out of town for another few days, but I was told it was appropriately sized for me!!!!!

The KVRT - Lotus / Store Still shows the suits, and i think the website added this line "Driver James Rossiters' name appears on belt." although I might be mistaken.

Oh well... I'm a happy camper, hopefully there still are some more of these suits available for anyone else.

How does Cosworth and Honda get promoted on the same suit? I would have thought it would be one or the other......not both?
Honda is the series sponsor and KV owns Cosworth... so he is just promoting his company.

Look out for the official Lotus Cup racing suit that will be available for sale next season.

Likely they added the driver name after I asked some questions regarding any driver connection. Seems odd since I was told the one I bought was the last...

+1 i would be interested to buy one as-well... actually it would be great
if you guys can provide some rough estimate on time-line,, i will be needing one
before April 2012.. i can be your beta tester as-well

Also on the topic of helmets,, yes SA2005 is good for more years, but i wanted to get a personalized helmet, does anybody here have any custom paint/work done on their helmets (any pictures you guys can share), any good place you guys can recommend for that?

I am looking for something that has lotus colors, and a bit retro looking..

I think you got the last of the crew suits. There were two driver suits - I got one and a local guy is picking up the other. I'd guess they added the note about the name so they wouldn't have to put up another photo.

That makes more sense. Are they sending out shipping info or are they just arriving? I've paypal'd, but haven't received any sort of follow-up.

I'm probably using my suit on Dec 2-4 for a LeMons race, so if I don't get it soon then I'll have to purchase another, that's why I'm anxious. I'd say the chances are higher than someone who doesn't track or compete at all, but having the proper gear is the way to minimize some of the risk.

That can probably be said about a lot of the safety equipment being sold, but safety is safety, and I personally would never question someone on whether or not they need a particular safety device. Maybe that's just me, but I'd question them on the need for some cosmetic plastic part being replaced by a CF part, but never safety.

Got my fire suit on Thursday. Brand spanking new....still in the plastic bag. Quite the deal! Thanks for finding these Anthony

This years fire suits will be available next week (although these are used). Look for them on the web site. They are for IRL Lotus cars #5 and #59. I bought the #59 suit to add to my fire suit collection :-)

Working with my friends at Sparco and Stand 21 to create one... we'll have it designed this winter for sure and ready for the start of the season.
