260 Hans seat

Having just returned from the depressing LA Auto Show, other than
watching the big three wallow in the mud like a trapped water buffalos waiting
for a pack of lions to finish them off, there were some interesting bits at the Lotus
booth. For one, the Evora is much more attractive in person. But what was
most exciting were the new Hans seats of the Exige S 260.
Obviously a cup car for the street and track. They are made as well by
Probax with an alcantra velcroed center section and higher bolstering on the
sides, not unlike the Sparko . Planning my return to the LCS series next year
I was delighted to find a seat thats made for my S. It has a part number and
can be ordered, I hope from Lotus. Sorry no picks. But for track work this is
nice stock alternative for the Exige. I would guess that the price of the Sparko
with modifications and installation are around the same.

I'm using one of these. Not perfect, but it is an easier install in the Lotus

I would also suggest shoulder harness pads. they are softer on your shoulders and will keep the harness from cutting into the top of your shoulder.

One more thing tinted visors for your helmet. I rcommend a clear, med and dark. Those will cover the whole range of lighting problems.

Garage
Cage

OK, I've muddled through the seat/harness problem, came up with the modified Exige seat and Schroth 6 point combo:

Next step, some sort of roll cage. I have searched, but this is the official safety equipment thread. Can someone direct me to a thread or other info specific to cage variations?
I've spoken to Kirt at Hypersport near Atlanta having seen a neat install done on a black S240.

Electronically operated Kill switch

Does anyone have another supplier for the factory kill switch:

ALS3M0007K

It is on the Lotus Sport UK catalog.

Great thread. Highly recommend everyone who goes to a track to read this thread.
