Forums too slow

Just started using this site but I'm about to give up. It's dead slow. Every click results in an interminably long wait which I find unacceptable.

I do not have this problem with other sites so I don't think my computer is causing the problem.

I'm using the latest version of IE and Firefox on a desktop. I always clear the cache. When I use adblocker, it's better but still unacceptably slow.

As a new owner of a used Lotus, I'm primarily interested in using the forums for information about maintenance and for buying parts. Of course, there are other Lotus sites but when looking for info or parts I prefer to have access to all of them.

Any suggestions before I make a U-turn?
