LotusTalk Tablet Format

Starting today, I am NO longer to open the LotusTalk forum on my Samsung Tablet in the usual online website format, that I have always been able to do.
Now, I only get what I think is an APP format, with the threads in a list. NO Recent Discussions in the Right Margin, Search Boxes, etc.
I made NO changes to my settings, so don't know why this suddenly changed today.
I much prefer the online website format, and would like to get it back.
Moderators, do you have an explanation ? Or, any advice on how to return to the online website format ?

What web browser are you using? When I use a tablet, running chrome, I have to make a selection in chrome to get the desktop version of a web site.

I've tried it in Chrome, Firefox, and Internet for Android. All the same. This just suddenly changed, using Internet for Android, that I have always used.

I found the "select desktop" in Chrome settings, and that worked.
THANKS, I'll use Chrome from now on.

No settings on Internet for Android to select desktop.

This is what the LotusTalk - The Lotus Cars Community > Lotus Discussions > Lotus Evora page looks like on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Tablet, using all search engines, except using Chrome and "select desktop" settings.

I do not prefer the mobile version of this site. Sure wish they would kill it...

Hey,

When you say "Internet for Android" is that an app? I'm not familiar with that browser?

"Internet for Android" is the default search engine installed on the Samsung Tablet. It has a blue globe icon.
I also installed Chrome and Firefox.
ONLY Chrome will allow me to "select desktop" in the settings to get the web version.

Just for clarification, the moderators have no administrative rights with regards to the structure, policies and upkeep of this website.

We can edit/close/merge threads and posts, ban users and other things, but we don't do the system administration for this site. The moderators do their work strictly on a volunteer basis. The actual site administrators are paid employees. We do work together, but have very different roles and responsibilities.

Did some testing on my end.

So there are 3 buttons on the page to get to the "Full Version" of the site, and I'm finding that 2 of them are broken, and 1 works for me. Have you tried the button at the very, very bottom of the screen? Attaching a screenshot

Name: bottom Full Version.JPG
Views: 74
Size: 53.4 KB

Putting in a ticket to get the other buttons fixed. They give me a "Not Found" error message

On my Samsung Tablet, that "View Full Version" is in the margin, below the Terms of Use, outside of the black Copyright, etc. box that has the Yellow "Full Version" and "Log Out" buttons.
That Very Very Bottom "View Full Version" DOES open the website/desktop version.
I would NOT have noticed that Very Very Bottom "View Full Version, since it is in the margin, well below the prominent yellow "Full Version" button, which does NOT work.
Thanks for pointing it out.
