Model tags or sub-forums

Any chance of a more complete update of the sub-forum structure either with thread model tag prefixes or a model hierarchy?

Right now it gets pretty confused whether or not things in FS/etc are intended for an Elise, Exige, Evora, etc.

Hey there

This is certainly something that can be looked in to. Are you talking specifically about the Classifieds? Or do you mean the whole forum?

How does the rest of the community feel?

Is there more of a push for separate sections for models? (keeping in mind, more forums can cause more confusion)
Or would thread prefixes work? (a label for your thread, so it looks like this is the list of threads: "[MODEL] Your Title Here")
Or do you prefer things the way they are?

If there's enough interest for change, we'll bring it to the mods for their feedback and see what can be done.

Thanks!
Dayle

Classifieds & Technical forums both would be good. Thread prefixes would be fine (if searchable, that's significant). You can look at any of them at present and see the confusion - a very common first reply is "What kind of car?"

Garage
I run into that often, as I go straight to Active Topics when I show up here. Especially when the thread concerns an Esprit which I have never had and don't know much about.

Anyone can make something complicated. It takes genius to make it simple. Einstein.
