2005 Elise: Slight coolant smell from front of car.

Hi all,

I am smelling a slight sweet/ coolant smell coming from the front of the car. I am looking for some tips to track down what I assume is a leak. If I had to guess it seems like it is coming from the passenger side.

The previous owner reports that the radiator has been replaced with: Sector 111 All Aluminum Pro-Rad radiator. So I don't believe it has the stock radiator issues.

Thanks!

There is no need for "reports". Just look at it to confirm.

Garage
If it is between the tires and the passenger compartment, heater core or the hoses to it are leaking.

If it is front of the tires, probably a hose on the radiator.

I have this same problem.

Replaced radiator with PRORad and new hoses about 1 month ago.
Drove it quite a bit without the clam on and checked around for leaks.

Coolant level hasnt dropped at all in this time.

I get a wif of coolant once its heated up. Comes and goes. Seems to be from the front but some days seems to be the back.

Ideas?

If I dont see the coolant go down is it normal?
