black trim around the windheild - how to fix

The black rubber/plastic trim around the windshield is cracked and staring to peel.
Is there any way to replace this or restore this stuff?

I know that it comes fixed to the windshield. Some have put in aftermarket Lexan windshields and placed the trim piece back on. Not sure if a silicone adhesive was used.

I think Greg from GregsRaceParts might be able to help?

Is your car insured?

I am having a vision of the future, it is a bolt kicked up by a truck tire, bounding across the highway, oh, damn, it broke the windshield......

So basically if you want to replace it, you've got to replace the windshield... got it

AMNE did a nice job with mine when debris from a garbage truck caused a decent sized crack.
