Blinkers only work when hazard button depressed

I read several posts about blinker problems. My 05 Elise just developed this. Blinkers and hazards do not work on their own. Light work when I lock the car with the fob. Blinkers work when the hazard light switch is pressed. Fuses are fine. Bad hazard switch? Thanks!

You said you checked the fuses, did you mean fuses F6 and F9? There is a (small) chance it could be the flasher module itself but I'd guess the problem is the hazard flasher switch; they seem to be the most common problem for directional indicator and hazard light problems.

2005 Ardent Red Elise, Gut Sport wing & splitter, custom diffuser, Sector111: DSBrace, gPan3, subStuffy2, Larini Sport muffler, decat pipe, Schroth Racing 5 pts, wheel studs, Team Dynamics 1.2 with Hoosier A6s, Koldflash 200 ECU flash, BOE rear clam hinge, BC Racing single adjustables, Hawk pads, SS Brake Lines, HID lights, custom tail and high mount brake light...and much more...

Yes, fuses were good. Seems plenty of people have had hazard switch issues that led to similar symptoms. Probably a good bet to just replace it I’m thinking.
