Boot lid thingie

Hello all,

I have a '02 Elise since early this year, and I'm loving it :-) The only thing that annoys the [email protected]# out of me is the boot lid, and the method of how its being kept open. Often I find myself using my head to keep the lid open

Is there a device that keeps the lid open without having to manually put the lid-opening rod (dunno the English name for it, sorry) in?

There is a chance the lidbone will not fit the 02 with the rover engine. The attach point is on the engine and may not match up on the rover.

Storm titanium 2005 Elise with carbon fiber spoiler, BWR sway bar, BOE toe links, gPan2, LidBone, sector 111 wheel studs, Grey RAC Monolite wheels with toyo R1R, Team Dynamics 1.4 with Hoosier A6/R6s, Katana2 Supercharger, ECU with 265 flash. PPE headers w/decat, CEL angle eliminator, Silent touch catback, Rear Panel Eliminator, HKS intake, V2 fuel tank, Walbro255 fuel pump. HID lights.

I'm glad I'm not the only one to use their head as a trunk post.

Check with Trevor - his shock kit was one of the best mods I made to the Elise. It should have been delivered that way.
