Elise help?

So I had a few problems with my headlights when I bought my Elise, so got it fixed and have had it on the market for a bit now with no real interest (05 35k $23obo) so I think I am going to keep it until spring so I have a few questions!

1. I have seen a few people on here that DD there cars, so I have been DD mine and plan on continuing it through winter. I know I have to get snow tires, but is there anything else I have to prep for winter?

2. Does anyone get an Evap code regularly? It happend to me a couple weeks after I filled up the car, so I went and go it cleared, a couple day later it came back on. I do not have the factory cap, I have a locking with key cap, but I still click it 3x

3. Does snow/rain/etc ever leak into the trunk?

Thanks sorry for all the newbie questions!

1. I've seen pictures of people using their Elise/Exige in the snow... not sure what was involved other than tires.

2. Guarantee it's the aftermarket gas cap.

3. Yes

Go to Jag dealership. Get quarter turn gas cap for 2003 x-type (Same exact cap as stock, just half the price of a Lotus Dealer). Should be $20ish It will fix your code
