Also in the extreme case of having the remote go dead you have to count the flashes for the PIN code...

Good point.

Yes, I did promise to implement that ,

A PCB mounted LED that will be visible through a tiny hole in the front ?
small enough as not to be noticed when its off ?

That would work just fine. Just as long as folks can see the light flash when walking by and the car is locked and not running.

It appears to be driven by the Cobra alarm system in any case - no need to have it activate as a shift light...

Sorry if this was discussed but any plans to implement a time page with 0-60 quarter mile, etc? Also how does one interact with the various screen configs?

Solar Yellow 07 (225 whp)
Katana 2 SC
Sector 111 Pro rad radiator
Larini SE Exhaust and Lotus Euro Grills
alarm mod ( 80 feet )
all recalls complete.
upgraded front speakers to 5.25, back to 6.5 added a 12 inch sub
AikShii's Glove box.
Nexus gen 2 custom made radio Bessel.
Garw.co Dash.

There has been no plan as yet. but its not a big addition it can be added to a list for future update requests.

the trip reset button is used to switch screens,
indicators move between options in the settings screen

right/left indicators are up/down to move between options
trip reset is change setting

external switches can be used also, plugged into the auxiliary connector

I added the extra switches option as it can be difficult to make changes at the side of the road with your indicators flashing left and right confusing other drivers.

I here you :-)

All the extra stuff is an add on

I.e unless a GPS receiver is plugged in and enabled there will be no settings/parameters visible on the screens for GPS lap timing .

Other extras are bolt ons which would need to be introduced with a usb drive .

Not part of the base unit . This ensures no one gets cluttered with functions they don't need or want.

Another PCB revision im afraid

the delphi 12040722 connector used in the Lotus Elise cluster is unavailable

only with a MOQ of 735 from delphi

Its not advertised in their connector lineup (only right angle variant 12092886 which wont fit) and therefore technically discontinued.

The only option is to fit a different connector to the cluster and use the cable mount Delphi 15305213 socket for an adapter loom.

The few connectors I have will be used for beta testing this PCB revision but production will have a short adapter loom from LCD cluster to lotus cluster plug.

Still a straight swap as before, but this has delayed things a little.

So first production run test units will roll into next month (PCB released by end of month)

Standing start 0-60mph, and 0-100mph times are held in the T4e (post-2008) and the T6 ECU, accessible through CAN mode 22 :

Login required - T4E ECU
0x22 0x3 0x34 Fastest Standing Start 0-100KMH
0x22 0x3 0x35 Fastest Standing Start 0-160KMH
0x22 0x3 0x36 Last Standing Start 0-100KMH
0x22 0x3 0x37 Last Standing Start 0-160KMH
0x22 0x3 0x39 Total number of Standing Starts

It would be nice to have these stats available on the dash perhaps via switchable diagnostic page?

I just want a straight simple dash, with optional add ins for the future. I like the new graphical ideas, etc. having something that looks updated and modern while still being simple and light. Any idea of weight versus stock?

Seriously? Weight? Unless this is made with multiple laminated layers of lead what difference could it make?
