Nice picture! Looks fun, I can't wait to get my own! I've had a lot of fun with my MR2 on the track, and can only imagine what the Elise will be like.

Just curious, can a 6' guy wear a helmet if the hardtop is on? Also, in that picture, it looks like the heads are higher than the roll hoop...is that so?

You noticed

I'm 6' 3", with the soft top I have to sit slightly lower in the seat, the driving position is OK, not tried with the hardtop but there is less headroom so I guess it would be a sqeeze.

. . . and yes, if you roll it, you have to duck

The S2 is worse that the S1 for this.

Village contains 2 men and a goat.
The goat was away visiting her aunt when we stopped by!
Steering wheel detachable so can be used on either side with variable effect on the car :-)

LOL.... yeah, you know why it's there.

Heck, speculating is part of the fun.

IMO... when you buy a new car, specially one like this... where we are all waiting for it....it's a journey. A ride. I am enjoying it. Speculating is part of the package. In the absence of hard info, we take what we can get.

A point that may be of interest for the S3... On the S2 all the grilles etc (ducts and rad grilles) are black/dark coloured because they are unpainted plastic. I hate that look.

On the 135R S2, Lotus painted all those plastic parts bodycoloured. The result is amazing: it looks *so* much better... I hope they do it as standard on the S3.
