Elise screw question

This aluminum Allen screw turned up on the passenger seat of my Elise. Looks familiar, but I can't place were it goes. Anybody recognize it?

That looks like aluminum, and the hex seems too large for the screw to be structural. Is it possible someone just dropped it on your seat? It doesn't look like any fastener I've seen on our cars.

It almost looks llke a carpet button?

because racecar

Doesn't look like any screw I've seen in the interior of my '05. What year is your car?

Mine has screws like that that hold the door card on. Hard to get a sense of scale in the pics though

My doorcard screw heads are smaller than the ones pictured. I want to say the doorcard screws are more similar to the ones that hold the front access panels. Yea, I haven't seen that type of screw in my 05 Elise. I would check the doorcard screws, seat bolts(doubtful as that seems too small for it), or the floor mat screw. It's possible they replaced one of the OEM screws they had with that one so hard to say. Good luck.

Really? The screws for my door card are much longer than that.

Wow. Thanks for the comments. Iíve been away from my computer for a week or two. Yep. Itís aluminum and has a really large Allen recess. Way larger than the door card screws. Iíll check the roof cable, but Iím guessing thatís not aluminum. It turned up on the passenger seat when a guy was getting it at the track for a ride-along. Now Iím starting to think it fell out of his helmet.
